In 2000, the Mentor Center of Palm Beach County convened the Mentor Center Network, a consortium of member agencies that provide mentors for young people as well as the training and support for successful mentoring relationships. Today, the Network is comprised of 16 mentoring programs and is still growing. Facilitated by the Mentor Center of Palm Beach County, the Network meets quarterly to allow programs the opportunity to network, share information, receive technical assistance, and develop collaborations. Member agencies follow commonly agreed-upon standards of program excellence. Individuals representing member agencies work on project-based committees to provide expanded resources to all agencies.
