We at the Parenting Center know parents are their children’s best and most important teachers. That’s why the Children's Services Council created the center in 2001. Our purpose is simple, but vital: Raise the existing level of parent education throughout Palm Beach County.

To do this, the center and its staff offers fun, informative, easily understandable classes to a cross-section of parents across the county. To ensure quality, these classes are taught by well-qualified, nationally accredited educators.

Our Mission and Vision

The Parenting Center serves as a central source for parenting education information and resources in order to enhance the lives of children and families in Palm Beach County. The Parenting Center sets a standard of excellence by increasing the knowledge and skills of our Certified Family Life Educators and other service providers within the community. By doing so, the center promotes best practices in the parent/family life education field.

To put it simply, our goal is to build healthy and well-functioning families through education, encouragement and support.
